MaeSomething is a contemporary lowbrow artist from Manila, best known for her cute and witty art featuring her original character, Mimi. Using soft pastel colors and playful details, she paints feel-good scenes inspired by everyday life, moments that are cozy, funny, and a little nostalgic.
Mae's art is all about spreading good vibes and turning everyday memories into adorable pieces that people can connect with.

Mae began drawing at the age of five, inspired by her grandfather and the cartoons she watched growing up. She spent her early years joining art contests and developing her skills, eventually becoming an Editorial Cartoonist and later sharing her passion as an Art Coach at a local art café. One of her proudest moments was winning 1st place at the JUST ADD WATER PH Plein Air Contest in 2018. Mae is also an active member of Team ALPAS and a graduate of the 3rd batch of Art Show Philippines’ Mentoring Program.
Mae has showcased her work both in the Philippines and internationally - with exhibitions in South Korea, Malaysia, and Spain. She has also collaborated with brands such as Globe Platinum, Chalkola, Tokyo Finds, RaketPH, Fuumuui, and
National Bookstore through content creation and creative projects.
Aside from painting, Mae brings Mimi into the real world through charming merchandise like stationery, bags, collectibles, and everyday items, many of which have also found their way into the hands of patrons abroad.
